The back story: there was an uproar across America when Giant's QB Eli Manning claimed in a televised interview that he was "elite". His style of play does not have the same sparkle as Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, or Michael Vick's, and many questioned whether he deserved to mentioned in the same sentence as these talents. But Eli put all doubts to rest today when he secured the Giant's second Super Bowl victory against the Patriots, 21-17. Patriot's fans must now hide their faces in shame.
